An enhanced Bill Pay experience is waiting for you!

Some of the new features include automatic alerts and enhanced fraud monitoring,
as well as the addition of Popmoney, a person-to-person payment option.


REMINDER TO EXISTING BILL PAY USERS: On or after Wednesday, June 7, 2017:

     - Review Payee Information
     - Review Bill Pay Scheduling
     - Choose a Default Funding Account for each Payee

     What You Need to Know

  • Payees and scheduled payments will be converted.
  • Previously scheduled electronic payments will be processed as paper checks. After the upgrade, if you would like to send an electronic payment using a Payee's bank account information, go to the Popmoney section in the Bill Pay tab to schedule.
  • Payments will be withdrawn from your account on the "Deliver By" date or when the check clears your account.
  • For a short period, while the new system determines your payment history, payments that were sent electronically may be sent as a check.
  • If you are currently enrolled in eBills, you will need to re-enroll on or after June 7th.
  • One year of Bill Pay history will be converted.
  • A default funding account will need to be assigned for each Payee. The new system will allow you to use a different funding account for each bill that you want to pay.
  • If you are using an unsupported browser, access to Bill Pay may be blocked. Supported Browsers include: IE 11; Firefox 47; Chrome 51; Edge 14; Safari 7,8, & 9; Android 5.0; Chrome 51; and iOS9.

      Alerts and enhanced fraud monitoring protect you from unauthorized payments.

      Popmoney
      Popmoney is a person-to-person payment option available to Middlesex Federal Online & Mobile Banking Bill Pay Users. It is an easy, secure way to send and receive money from friends, family, and other contacts. Sending and receiving money is as easy as emailing and texting.

      Flexible Auto-Pay Options
      Define the payment schedule, payment type (amount due, minimum due, statement balance, or specified fixed amount), and select the account that will be used for each bill.

      Payments Scheduled by a "Deliver By" Date Rather Than "Send On" *
      The "Deliver By" date is the guaranteed date the Payee will receive payment. Funds will be withdrawn from your account either as an electronic payment or processed as a check.

      Enhanced eBill Experience
      An easier and simplified process that offers an expanded list of participating merchants to choose from, including more than 575 eBill Payees.

      Later Cut Off Time
      Bill payments may be scheduled as late as 10 pm and sent Same Day. Cut off times may vary by Payee.

       

      Timeline

      Before Monday, June 5, 2017
      To ensure on-time delivery, all payments due between June 6 and June 10, 2017 should be scheduled with a "Deliver By" date of June 5, 2017.

      Monday, June 5, 2017 - June 6, 2017
      Bill Pay access and all functionality will be not be available from Monday, June 5 at 2:30 pm through midnight, Tuesday, June 6. NOTE: Only Bill Pay access will be restricted during the upgrade; all other Online & Mobile Banking services will still be available

      On or After Wednesday, June 7, 2017
      On Wednesday, June 7, Middlesex Federal's new and improved Online & Mobile Bill Pay system will be available. While all recurring payments and established Payees will transfer to the new system automatically, we recommend the following:

      • Confirm your Bill Pay schedule is accurate.
      • Verify that your Payee information is correct, including name, address and account number.
      • Verify that bill payments are being funded by the correct account if you have multiple checking accounts.
